2014
A passage in time: a choreographic game echoing the flow in space, with minor or major interruptions: the rhythm of events crossing its development, suggesting overlapping layers of experience: a synthesis of forces - bodies - subjectivities in the face of the circumstances of the present moment. Decisions, impulses and instabilities. Changes of direction.
Upon entering the concrete reality of the world and human relationships, the choreography activates a plurality of diverse virtual domains – social, political, economic, linguistic, somatic, racial, aesthetic, gender-related – and interweaves them all within its very particular compositional framework, always on the brink of vanishing and always creating a coming-to-be.
Conceived during an artist residency at the Çati Çagdas Dans space in Istanbul, Turkey, and produced by the São Paulo State Cultural Action Programme.
In 2020, the performance was adapted into a web art version, which can be accessed by clicking
